We
are a very friendly group of walkers in our thirties to fifties
based in and around Cambridge UK. We walk mainly in Cambridgeshire
but have day walks in Hetfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. We
also have week-ends away in places such as Derbyshire, Staffordshire
and Norfolk. Each year we have a weeks walking holiday, this
year on the Devon /Dorset border, last year in the lake district.
Our walking group meets every third Sunday throughout the year.
We go walking in all weathers but prefer it fine. Anyone who
can get to a walk is welcome to join us, see below. We get between
5 and 15 turn up for each walk. We believe that walking should
be fun. All walks are free and vary in length from 4 to 11 miles.
The pace of our walking group is moderate, and anyone of reasonable
fitness can cope, as there are few hills around Cambridge and
most of Cambridgeshire. Our trips further away from Cambridge
however include walking in hilly areas and walks of greater
